Creative Writing

Do you want to write stories or blogs, but you don’t quite know how to begin? Or did you begin and you are wondering how to continue best?

This course intends to help you by exploring a variety of forms and techniques for creative writing. The interactive set up will include exercises and how to give and receive useful feedback. We will cover basic principles like using your senses to write vivid scenes and structuring your observations, thoughts and feelings into stories.

Depending on group preferences we can then either delve into more technical aspects like perspective and tone of voice, narrow the focus of the ingredients for plot or poetic contemplation, or spend time on how to tap into your inspiration.

NB: There are two creative writing courses. The Dutch spoken one is indicated with (NL) and the English spoken one is indicated with (ENG). Make sure you enroll for the right language.
