Adobe Photoshop - Intermediate

Note: in this course we use computers on which only UG-students are able to log in. Others should take their own laptop and have a private subscription for Adobe Creative Cloud.

Welcome to this intermediate graphic design course, where we'll take your skills in Adobe InDesign to the next level. This concentrated course, consisting of 5 times two-hour lessons, is designed for students who have already completed our initial 10-lessons class (beginner) OR have acquired prior basic knowledge of these design softwares.

This class will teach you to apply your knowledge and skills in a cohesive and strategic manner. For following the class, you need to know your way around the software's interface, but also have basic ideas on how works the main tools and panels. During the intermediate Photoshop lessons, we'll build upon your existing knowledge and explore more sophisticated techniques for photo retouching and composition. You'll master layer masking and blending modes, integrate complex selections, and learn to utilise advanced adjustment layers effectively. We'll also explore advanced text effects and elaborate photo manipulation. Through hands-on projects, you'll sharpen your skills and enhance your ability to create optimised visual for posters, flyers or social media posts.
