SHOOT!

Are you a film enthusiast and are you looking for new interesting short films? Are you a filmmaker and would you like to learn from your filmmaking peers? Come to SHOOT!

On the 13th of June, Usva is putting four local starting filmmakers in the spotlight. Sit back and enjoy four creative and diverse short films created by young local filmmakers!

There will also be a feedback panel of film professionals present to give feedback on the films. This way both the filmmakers and the audience can learn and develop themselves as artists!

Programme:
Poor Man's Fortune, dir. Paul Füchsl: When a crafty homeless man is mistaken for a famous life coach, he finally sees an opportunity to free himself from the clutches of poverty.

How to Become a Bug + An Awkward Dinner, dir. Luz Mercedes: Luz Mercedes, also known as ‘huny’ from their experimental electronic sound art project, aims to create intimate dreamscapes through their two short films “How to Become a Bug” and “An Awkward Dinner”, conveying a fragmented visual narrative of vulnerability, obscured memory and the surprising places a mind can go at night.

De Schim, dir. Maurice Borchers and Luna de Klein: Two detectives investigate the death of a woman in an abandoned house. When unexplained things start to happen, no one is safe. Everything is at stake. There seems to be no turning back - or is there?

Candela, dir. Vlad Bazga, Robert Vesler and Maxim Pronin: Got a light? An insoluble quest.

When? Thursday the 13th of June at 20.30 pm. Doors open at 20.00 pm.
Where? In the Usva Theatre, Munnekeholm 10.
